DEER HUNTING AND THE NATIONAL TRUST (No.2)

That this House expresses its deep disappointment and disgust that the National Trust Council has failed to implement the views of its members on deer hunting; and further believes that, as the Working Party on deer hunting failed even to address the issue of cruelty to deer, in the interests of deer welfare and democracy the Council should implement a ban on deer hunting on its land as a matter of urgency.
