Diageo UK's Learning for Life Hospitality Training Programme
That this House congratulates the participants of Diageo’s award-winning Learning for Life hospitality training scheme for learners in Edinburgh in partnership with The Prince's Trust and Springboard; celebrates the success of half of the graduates securing employment shortly after completing their intensive training; commends the scheme’s commitment to diversity, inclusion and supporting refugees through awarding spaces to seven Ukrainian refugees alongside participants from the local community and around the world; and calls on the Government to explore similar opportunities to help more adults, including refugees, into the workplace through vocational training and work experience.
