Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Bob Cryer (Labour), on Tuesday, 4 May 1993, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 77 members in total.
REPORT ON THE ABUSES BY HUNTSMEN
That this House congratulates the League Against Cruel Sports and the Animal Cruelty Investigation Group on producing their report called Skinned, on the largely untaxed multi-million pound trade in animal skins carried out by the most of Britain's red-coated huntsmen; is further alarmed by the health risk involved in feeding raw casualty meat to the hounds; and calls on the Government to initiate an enquiry into the whole issue as a first step to introducing legislation to end hunting with dogs.
