That this House congratulates The Three Cups on being named Pub of the Year 2026 by the North West Wiltshire branch of the Campaign for Real Ale; recognises The Three Cups as the oldest pub in Malmesbury and a valued community hub located at the Triangle in the town; commends the landlords, Janinka Diverio and Gary Walsh, and their team for creating a welcoming, inclusive and community-focused venue; notes the pub’s distinctive identity as Malmesbury’s first and only meat-free pub, alongside its provision of vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free food; further notes its growing national recognition, including inclusion in a list of the UK’s best vegan pubs and bars by Vegan Food & Living; highlights its important role in supporting local arts, live music and community events; acknowledges the judges’ praise for its friendly atmosphere and strong community spirit; and celebrates the contribution of independent pubs such as The Three Cups in sustaining local economies, fostering social connection, and enriching cultural life across Wiltshire and the wider South West.
