Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Gregory Campbell (Democratic Unionist Party), on Monday, 20 April 2026, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 7 members in total.
100th anniversary of the birth of Queen Elizabeth II
That this House notes that 21 April 2026 marks 100 years since the birth of the woman who became the longest reigning monarch in British history for over 70 years from 1952 until her passing in 2022; acknowledges the profound and lasting impact she had on the UK and across the globe; recognises that Her Majesty on only one occasion throughout her reign personally penned the foreword for a book which was entitled The Servant Queen and the King She Serves, which outlined her faith in Jesus Christ as she had done in many of her Christmas broadcasts; and expresses gratitude for having such a Servant Queen throughout tumultuous times in history.
