Western Sahara

That this House affirms the right of the Saharawi people of Western Sahara to self-determination in accordance with United Nations resolutions and international law; expresses concern at the continued occupation by Morocco and at the many human rights abuses documented; calls on the Government to use its position on the UN Security Council to push for renewed and meaningful progress toward the long-promised referendum on self-determination for Western Sahara; demands that the UK Government reaffirms its recognition of self-determination rights for the Saharawis; and further calls on Ryanair to stop profiting from tourism in occupied Western Sahara and cease listing destinations within Western Sahara as being part of Morocco, in compliance with Advertising Standards Authority standards and international law.
