Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Michael Latham (Conservative), on Thursday, 7 June 1990, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 1 members in total.
Justice in Iran (No. 3)
That this House notes that on 16th May The Voice of the Islamic Republic of Iran radio station quoted the Minister of State at the Irish Ministry of Foreign Affairs as having expressed his happiness about the satisfactory state of human rights in Iran; would be very surprised if the Irish Minister had said any such thing; and notes the claim on an Iranian opposition radio station on 1st June that 17 Kurdish people had been executed by the Iranian regime, after being arrested at May Day ceremonies.
