Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Alan Meale (Labour), on Wednesday, 2 December 1992, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 123 members in total.
DEERHUNTING AND THE NATIONAL TRUST
That this House welcomes the exceptionally high percentage of public support indicated with a recent Gallup poll for the successful members' resolution to ban deerhunting with hounds on National Trust land; and awaits with eager anticipation the Trust's recognition of that public expression of view regarding an activity on land they hold in keeping for the nation.
