G.M.FIRTH (HOLDINGS) PLC (NO 2)

That this House calls upon the Board and shareholders of G.M. Firth (Holdings) plc to question whether the practice of their Chairman in referring to employees at Spartan Redeugh, Gateshead, as 'Thick Geordie Bastards' and other puerile, offensive and obscene expressions not fit to print, while generally throwing his weight about during the first hours of his arrival at the plant, is commensurate with civilised behaviour let alone effective industrial relations.
