Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Mike Hall (Labour), on Wednesday, 2 March 1994, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 18 members in total.
CONDUCT OF THE RIGHT HONOURABLE MEMBER FOR HUNTINGDON AND HEMINGFORD GREY TELEPHONE
That this House notes with grave concern that the Right honourable Member for Huntingdon has asked British Telecom to re-site the Hemingford Grey village telephone box despite the fact that the local parish council objects to this, and despite the fact that he has had a 1,126 signature petition demanding that the telephone box remained in its present location; therefore supports the Hemingford Grey Parish Council's request to the Prime Minister to attend their next meeting to explain his actions; and hopes that British Telecom will support the overwhelming views of local residents and withdraw their plans to re-locate this telephone box.
