Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Mike Hall (Labour), on Wednesday, 2 March 1994, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 32 members in total.

HUMAN RIGHTS IN COLOMBIA

That this House expresses its grave concern about the continuing abuse of human rights in Colombia, noting that Colombian police statistics record 28,000 violent deaths in 1992 of which it is estimated that between 10 and 15 per cent. are political killings; therefore welcomes the visit to Colombia by Sr. Oscar Castano and a human rights delegation in May of this year; and calls upon Her Majesty's Government to do all it can to ensure the safety and success of this delegation.
