Angus Robertson: To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what assessment his Department has made of the investigation announced by King Gyanendra of Nepal on 4 June 2001 into the massacre at the royal palace on 1 June 2001; and if he will make a statement. [214730] Mr. Alexander: We welcomed the publication on 14 June 2001 of the investigating commission's report into the massacre of the Nepalese royal family. The terms of reference for the investigating commission were extensive and gave the commission the authority to make a thorough investigation.
