Question: To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, what recent communications he has had from the National Audit Office in respect of requests for information about the overall cost of his post. (Failed OPQ)

Answer: Mr. Hoban: To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster what recent communications he has had from the National Audit Office in respect of requests for information about the overall cost of his post. [220428] Mr. Milburn: The National Audit Office has contacted the Cabinet Office in respect of correspondence it has received about the cost of my office. Information about the level of individual ministerial salaries is in the Library of the House. The overall cost of my office will be published in the 2004-05 Cabinet Office Annual Report and Resource Accounts.
