Pete Wishart: To ask the Secretary of State for Transport whether it is his Department's practice to indemnify traffic commissioners in any actions brought against them for damages. [223120] Mr. Jamieson: It is the policy of my Department to indemnify traffic commissioners in any actions brought against them in relation to the exercise of their statutory functions.
