Question: To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, if he will list the countries providing troops to the coalition forces in Iraq; and how many troops each country provides.

Answer: Tom Cox: To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he will publish an up to date list of the countries providing troops to the coalition forces in Iraq and how many troops each country provides. [215163] Mr. Ingram: In early March 2005, the United Kingdom had 7,961 personnel deployed in Iraq. The number of personnel per troop contributing nation is a matter for individual countries.
