Mr. Lansley: To ask the Secretary of State for Health whether the Health Protection Agency's survey of data collection methods for the mandatory MRSA surveillance scheme is complete; and what assessment has been made of the consistency in data collection methods across NHS trusts. [222778] Miss Melanie Johnson: The user study by the Health Protection Agency of the methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) bacteraemia mandatory surveillance scheme is expected to be received by the Department shortly.
