Question
To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry, what statistics trading standards officers are required to compile on the sale of alcohol to under-age individuals; what guidance the Government has issued to local authority trading standards officers on measures they should take towards reducing under-age drinking.

David Davis: To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry (1) what statistics trading standards officers are required to compile on the sale of alcohol to under-age individuals; [209243] (2) what guidance the Government have issued to local authority trading standards officers on measures they should take towards reducing under-age drinking. [209244] Mr. Sutcliffe: It has not proved possible to respond to the right hon. Member in the time available before Prorogation.
