Troop Deployment
- Question
- To ask the Secretary of State for Defence how many army reservists undertook active deployment in the last year for which statistics are available; and in which deployments.
- Answer

The following numbers of army reservists were mobilised and deployed in the 12 months preceding 1 May 2005: some 2,930 to Iraq; some 210 to the Balkans; some 70 to Afghanistan and a number fewer than five to Sierra Leone.
