Afghanistan: Shaima Rezayee

- What is their response to the murder of Shaima Rezayee in Afghanistan.

My Lords, Shaima Rezayee was found dead in Kabul around 17 or 18 May. During his visit to Afghanistan between 5 and 9 June, my honourable friend the Foreign and Commonwealth Minister, Dr Kim Howells, raised Mrs Rezayee's death with Deputy Minister of the Interior Daoud. He said that investigations are continuing, and he has undertaken to keep Her Majesty's Government informed of progress.
