Kanes Food
- Question
- To ask the Deputy Prime Minister if he will make it his policy to conduct a public inquiry into the planning application by Kanes Food at Middle Littleton to expand their existing operations.
- Answer
-
Wychavon district council has submitted the planning application by Kanes Foods Ltd. to the Secretary of State as a departure from the local plan. We are currently considering whether it is necessary to call in the planning application for the Secretary of State to decide himself, instead of leaving the decision to the local planning authority. A public inquiry will be held if the application is called in. I will advise the hon. Member of our decision.
