Illegal Working

Question
To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what his latest estimate is of the impact on tax revenues and the economy of illegal working by (a) British and EU citizens, (b) asylum seekers and (c) illegal immigrants.
Answer

It is not possible to provide reliable estimates of the impact on tax revenues and the economy of illegal working by British and EU citizens, asylum seekers or illegal immigrants.
