Anthrax Sales (Iraq)

- To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will make it his policy to lodge a complaint with the UN Security Council following the breach of the biological and toxic weapons convention caused by the sale of anthrax to Iraq; and if he will make a statement.

We remain of the opinion that there is no case for reporting the United States to the UN Security Council as having been in breach of its obligations under the biological and toxin weapons convention.I refer the hon. Member to my answer of 14 October 2005, Official Report, column 643W.
