Carbon Monoxide Poisoning

- To ask the Secretary of State for Health what training is provided to ambulance personnel on identifying injury caused by carbon monoxide poisoning.

Ambulance emergency medical technician and paramedic qualifying training includes recognition and treatment of poisoning, including reference to carbon monoxide. It is also covered by the clinical practice guidelines for use in United Kingdom ambulance services, produced by the Joint Royal Colleges Ambulance Liaison Committee.
