EU Budget (Rebate)

- To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what the total cumulative value of the UK's rebate from the EU budget has been since 1984.
- Answer

From 1985–86, when the abatement came into effect, to the end of 2004–05, the value totalled £44.2 billion.
