Bedroom Standard

- To ask the Deputy Prime Minister how many children in the south east region were living in accommodation one or more bedrooms below the bedroom standard in the most recent year for which figures are available.

Using data from the Survey of English Housing it is estimated that over the three-year period 2002–03, 2003–04 and 2004–05, the number of children in the south east region living in households that are one or more bedrooms below the bedroom standard was 100,000.
