Question
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what the estimated cost was of deploying troops and equipment to Kuwait between November 2002 and March 2003.
Answer

Operational costs directly relating to the deployment of troops and equipment to Kuwait were subsumed within the overall operation in Iraq. The annual audited figures for the costs of operations in Iraq for the financial year 2002–03 was £848 million.
