- To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what recent representations he has received from (a) hon. Members, (b) Members of the House of Lords and (c) members of the public about the Stop Now Orders (EC Directive) Regulations 2001; and if he will make a statement on the operation of the Regulations.

The DTI has not received any recent representations about the Stop Now Orders (EC Directive) Regulations 2001.The Enterprise Act 2002, parts of which came into force on 20 June 2003, replaced and extended the injunctive Stop Now Order enforcement regime to include a wide range of domestic consumer protection legislation not previously covered.
