Immigration (Work Permits)
The House will be shocked to hear that I agree that the activities of gangmasters and snakeheads are antisocial and should be driven out. The answer to the hon. Gentleman’s question is that we will go through this whole approach policing rigorously the system to deal with organised crime. As I said to my hon. Friend the Member for Crewe and Nantwich (Mrs. Dunwoody), people trafficking is a central priority in the system, and we shall carry that proposal through.
