Family Breakdown
- Question
- Whether in future they intend to publish figures for marriage, divorce and incidence of domestic violence by neighbourhood so that changes in the levels of deprivation following family breakdown can be monitored.
- Answer
-
It is not possible to produce reliable figures for marriage and divorce at the neighbourhood level. Figures for marriage are published by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) at the registration district (similar to local authority district) level in which they occurred.
