- To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many workers at the Immigration and Nationality Directorate (a) are absent from work on full pay and (b) have been for more than one month.
- Answer

[holding answer 18 September 2006]: Absence from work on full pay can occur for a number of reasons e.g. sick leave, maternity leave or jury service.No report is available from a single source which covers all absences in comparison with pay. This information could be provided only at disproportionate cost.
