Public Sector Departments Review (Sir Michael Lyons)

Question
To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what remuneration Sir Michael Lyons received for chairing the review of the location of public sector departments.
Answer

Sir Michael Lyons received remuneration of £40,000 excluding VAT, and expenses of £6,000, for conducting an 11-month inquiry into public sector relocation, meeting with key stakeholders, participating in public consultation, negotiating with Government Departments and providing strategic direction and oversight of the review.
