There are two EUFOR military operations under way: EUFOR-Althea in Bosnia and Herzegovina and EUFOR Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). There are no submarines assigned to either operation. The Agreement between the European Union and the Gabonese Republic was concluded on 16 June 2006 to determine the status of elements of EUFOR DRC stationed in Gabon. The Agreement addresses the full range of issues concerning the status of EU forces that might potentially arise.
