Black Hawk Helicopters

- To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he will assess the merits of leasing Black Hawk helicopters from the United States administration.

[holding answer 4 December 2006]: The possible merits of leasing Battlefield Helicopters is currently being explored under the Lift Advanced Concept Phase, part of the Future Rotorcraft Capability programme.
