Ambulance Service: Northern Ireland

- asked Her Majesty's Government:How they have recognised the work of the professional and voluntary ambulance crews who have worked in Northern Ireland throughout the 25 years of terrorist activity.

Ambulance staff are eligible to receive the ambulance service (emergency services) long service and good conduct medal, the Ambulance Service Association (ASA) long service medal and the Queen’s Golden Jubilee medal. The Office of the First Minister and Deputy First Minister (OFMDFM) is considering a proposal for a Northern Ireland volunteer medal for members of the Order of St John, the Order of Malta and the British Red Cross.
