Engagements

Question
The Prime Minister is the only Briton apart from Winston Churchill to have been awarded the US congressional gold medal—but he seems strangely reluctant to go and pick it up. Why does not he do so tomorrow when he is over there meeting members of Congress, before the new Congress changes its mind?
Answer

I am afraid that even at the risk of such an event, I have other things to do in my time in Washington.
