Iraq
- Question
- To ask the Secretary of State for Defence how many of those killed by British forces in Iraq in the last 12 months were (a) militants and (b) civilians.
- Answer

[holding answer 18 December 2006]: There is no reliable means of ascertaining the numbers of combatants or non-combatants killed by British Forces in Iraq, but the UK makes every effort to minimise the impact of military action on the Iraqi population.
