Home Responsibilities Protection

- To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions what estimate he has made of the average number of years of home responsibilities protection (HRP) claimed by women who retired in (a) 1985-86, (b) 1995-96 and (c) 2005-06, excluding those women who did not receive HRP.

[holding answer 25 January 2007]: The estimated average number of years of home responsibilities protection (HRP) received by women aged 60 in (a) 1985-86 is three years, (b) 1995-96 is six years, and (c) 2005-06 is nine years."Notes:""1.
