Troop Protection
- Question
- To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what steps he is taking to increase the protection of British armed forces deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan.

A number of new capabilities have been deployed to each theatre in recent months including intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance systems, new, better protected armoured vehicles and additional base protection measures. More are due to arrive before the end of the year.
