Antisocial Behaviour Orders: Greater London

Question
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many breaches of antisocial behaviour orders resulted in custodial sentences in each London borough in each of the last five years.
Answer

The latest data available for breaches of antisocial behaviour orders (ASBOs) and custody are for 2003. The figures show that only 134 people in total in England and Wales between 2000 and 2003 were sentenced to custody for breach of ASBOs alone. In all other cases, they were convicted for other offences at the same time.
