Vehicles: Insurance

- To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many vehicles were seized as uninsured vehicles in each of the last three years for which figures are available; and how many of those were subsequently destroyed or scrapped.

The police power is to seize vehicles driven by someone without appropriate insurance. Information on the number of vehicles seized is not recorded centrally.
