Bookmakers: Licensing
- Question
- To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport what plans he has to review the system of betting licences, operating licences and premise licences issued to British bookmakers.

The Gambling Act 2005, which came fully into effect on 1 September 2007, places the protection of children and vulnerable people at the heart of the gambling licensing system for the first time. We have no plans to review this new framework.
