EU External Relations: Commonwealth

Question
To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what plans he has to improve EU-Commonwealth relations; and if he will make a statement.
Answer

My right hon. Friend the Foreign Secretary will continue to support strongly the work done by the Secretary-General of the Commonwealth to increase contacts and interaction between the EU and the Commonwealth, including on issues such as election observation, trade and good governance.
