Transparency International: Finance

Question: To ask the Secretary of State for International Development what funding his Department provided to Transparency International in (a) 2005, (b) 2006 and (c) 2007; and how much of such funding was allocated to projects in Venezuela.

Answer

The Department for International Development has provided the following funding to Transparency International:

All of this was unrestricted funding provided to the Berlin-based Transparency International Secretariat. None was ear-marked for Venezuela.
