- Further to the Written Answer by Lord Rooker on 3 June (WA 47), how many legally qualified staff were employed and at what average cost in the Crown Prosecution Service in England in 2007–08.

Over the period 1 April 2007 to 31 March 2008 the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) employed 3,060 people in England who were legally qualified. The average cost of employing legally qualified staff at the CPS in England for 2007-08 was £45,247 per annum.
