Iraq: Peacekeeping Operations

- To ask the Prime Minister whether he has commissioned any studies into lessons learnt from the UK's military and humanitarian efforts in (a) Iraq and (b) Afghanistan since June 2007; and if he will make a statement.

We review every aspect of our military and humanitarian efforts on a continuous basis, both to determine requirements and to learn lessons for future practice, drawing on the experience of military commanders and civilian personnel in theatre.
