Iraq: Peacekeeping Operations

Question
To ask the Prime Minister whether he has commissioned any studies into lessons learnt from the UK's military and humanitarian efforts in (a) Iraq and (b) Afghanistan since June 2007; and if he will make a statement.
Answer

We review every aspect of our military and humanitarian efforts on a continuous basis, both to determine requirements and to learn lessons for future practice, drawing on the experience of military commanders and civilian personnel in theatre.
