The assumptions concerning future oil prices used to estimate passenger demand for the 2003 Air Transport White Paper are set out in the Air Traffic Forecasts for the United Kingdom 2000 document published by the then Department for the Environment, Transport and Regions, p. 30. This is available at:"http://www.dft.gov.uk/pgr/aviation/atf/airtrafficforecastsfortheuni281"The then DTI's Energy Projections for the UK, Working Paper, March 2000 document shows the Government's oil price assumptions at the time.Copies of both these documents are held in the Library of the House.
