Health Professions: Prosthetics

- To ask the Secretary of State for Health whether there are any restrictions on prosthetics practitioners from other EU member states practising in the United Kingdom.

Prosthetics practitioners from other EU member states wishing to establish themselves in the United Kingdom are required to register with the Health Professions Council. The Health Professions Council will assess on a case by case basis those prosthetics practitioners who wish to practise in the United Kingdom on a temporary or occasional basis in particular to its duration, frequency, regularity and continuity.
