Public Sector: Pensions
- Question
- (2) what assumed mortality rates for members of public sector pension schemes were used to calculate the figures in table 4.1 of the 2008 Long-term Public Finance Report; and whether these differ from the assumed rates underpinning population projections;

I refer the hon. Member to the answer I gave him on 26 November 2008, Official Report, column 1912W. We expect that the Government Actuary's Department will publish this paper alongside the Long Term Public Finance report later this year.
