Terrorism

Question
To ask Her Majesty's Government who is in overall charge of anti-terrorist activities by the intelligence services, police and other public bodies in relation to the protection of the public between 2009 and the 2012 Olympics in London.
Answer

My right honourable friend the Secretary of State for the Home Department is responsible for policing and counterterrorism at a national level, including the safety and security of London and of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
