Elections: Monitoring
- Question
- To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what percentage contribution to Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe election observation missions the UK plans to make in the future.
- Answer
-
We greatly value the election observation work of the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE). We will continue to uphold the commitment we made in 2004 to provide, from the UK, up to 10 per cent. of observers to the OSCE's election observation missions on an ad hoc basis.
